Life Backup Plan Returns to the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition
Life Backup Plan has been accepted into the 2026 TiE Women Global Pitch Competition through the TiE Los Angeles chapter, also known as TiE SoCal. This marks the company’s second participation in the international entrepreneurship program following its acceptance in 2024.
Founded and led by CEO Sandy Eulitt, Life Backup Plan has developed an Interoperable Lifecare Platform™ that connects the people, information, resources, and support systems affecting an individual’s health and safety. The platform brings together emergency preparedness and response, personal health information, lifestyle and symptom tracking, family monitoring, community assistance, and Critical Documents organization within one secure, person-centered system.
Life Backup Plan’s participation provides an opportunity to refine its investor presentation, receive feedback and mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs, and introduce its expanding vision to members of the global TiE community.
“Returning to the TiE Women program in 2026 gives us another opportunity to present how substantially Life Backup Plan has evolved since our first participation in 2024,” Eulitt said. “We now have a much more complete platform, a stronger understanding of our organizational markets, and a clearer articulation of the enormous problem we are solving. People should not have to serve as the systems integrator for their own health, safety, care, and critical information.”
About the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition
The TiE Women Global Pitch Competition is an international program for women-founded and women-led startups. Its mission is to embrace, engage, and empower women entrepreneurs through learning, mentoring, access to funding, scalability, community, and a supportive entrepreneurial network.
The 2026 program begins at the local chapter level, where participating founders receive mentoring and prepare for chapter pitch competitions. Entrepreneurs selected through the chapter competitions may advance to regional semifinals and ultimately to the global finals.
The North America and Europe semifinals are scheduled for September 17 and 18, 2026, and will be hosted by TiE Los Angeles. The global finals are scheduled for December 14 and 15, 2026, during the TiE Global Summit in Indore, India. The program offers more than $100,000 in equity-free cash prizes across its competition and related opportunities.
According to TiE Women, the initiative has attracted more than 11,000 applications from 62 countries, accelerated more than 500 women-led startups, and provided chapter-level mentoring to more than 1,000 women entrepreneurs.
